Welcome, High School Students!

We’re excited to invite all high school and homeschool students (grades 9-12) to participate in the Shape Seekers Sculpture Event! This is your chance to show off your creativity and bring your unique artistic ideas to life through sculpture.

We encourage you to think outside the box and create something that reflects your personal vision. Whether you’re an experienced artist or just beginning, this event is all about expressing yourself in your own unique way.

To get started, simply register for the event, read event description and requirements, and we will contact you via email with more details. If you have any questions or need further information, feel free to reach out to Jordan Hill, EPIIC Program Coordinator, at jhill@indycc.edu or call the Fab Lab ICC at 620-332-5499.

We can’t wait to see what you create! CLICK LINK BELOW

SparkSquad will provide breakfast, lunch, and snacks for all campers. Should participants prefer to bring their own meals, there is a refrigerator and microwave available for use.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): SparkSquad will provide welding jackets, welding helmets, safety glasses, dust masks, and ear protections for the campers. Campers will need to purchase youth MIG welding gloves. Amazon does have these types of gloves and sizing guides available. Blue Demon is one brand that has welding gloves designed for kids. If you need help purchasing gloves, please give us a call at (620) 332-5618.

Dress Code: Campers are required to wear jeans and 100% cotton shirts. Long-sleeved shirts are recommended, though short-sleeved shirts are permissible. Wool and polyester blends are prohibited. Shorts, sweatpants, and sandals are not permitted. Leather work boots are suggested.

Safety Mindset: Campers will look out for each other to make sure work is done in a safe manner. Harassment and horseplay are strictly prohibited. Welding shops are designated safe areas, but they can become hazardous if students engage in running, pushing, or playing practical jokes on each other. Any camper who compromises the safety of the camp or mistreats another participant will be immediately dismissed.
